JA Customer Care

Jemez Adventures (JA) was started to highlight the diversity and enjoyment of the outdoors in Jemez country. The Jemez is threatened from all sides - global warming, deforestation, over used and over loved, fire, drought, and floods. The streams and trails of the Jemez need friends that understand what a tremendous outdoor recreation resource it is, and how important is is to protect it for our use and that of future generations. JA guidebooks and map-packs are designed to encourage ethical and safe use of this resource and to build a base of Jemez friends that will support and care for our mountains. Together we can make a difference in preserving this uniquely beautiful place.

It is important to us that your experience with JA products is the best it can be - and that you too will become a friend of the Jemez Mountains. If you are displeased with any JA product please contact us immediately and we will address it quickly and arrange a product replacement, substitution, or refund.   

Privacy & Safety

Personal information provided to JA in the course of business is not sold or shared with anyone or any company. Our customer's privacy is a top tier priority at JA.

What We Collect
JA collects the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

JA uses commenting and social media plug-ins and third-party websites. We use those third-party services to interact with visitors and to build our community on social media. We also uses these third-party services to measure the number of visitors to our website, to interact with visitors on the site, and to make our website more useful to visitors.
